The Sail Loft is a completely refurbished and beautiful Holiday Let just off Greenway Road on the lane of Galmpton Touring Park. This spacious, bright, holiday home-from-home cottage comprises an open plan kitchen/dining/sitting room, 3 bedrooms (sleeps six comfortably), 2 bathrooms and entrance cloakroom. It is suitable for families with children or as a grown-up’s retreat.

The downstairs kitchen & sitting room are flooded with sun light during the day. The very modern state-of-the-art kitchen has plenty of space to prepare your family meals with all the utensils you need, an electric hob, fan oven, grill and fridge/freezer. It also has a dishwasher and washing machine for that extra bit of luxury.

The open plan dining area has a large oak dining table and chairs and seats 6. The lounge area has 2 leather sofas, TV, DVD player and side table and is perfect for relaxing.

Bedroom 1 is a double room downstairs, with an en suite bathroom, with bath and large shower.

Upstairs comprises of Bedroom 2, which is a twin room & Bedroom 3, which is a spacious double. There is a second bathroom upstairs with a large shower and spiral staircase leading back into the open planned living area.

Outside the house is a decked area suitable for barbecuing or simply sitting out in the sun!

Stay a few nights or a week or two, the choice is yours, but for relaxation and gorgeous views whether it’s hot or cold outside – low or high season, The Sail Loft will have you coming back for more.

Location

The self catering holiday cottage is ideally located, set just on the edge of Galmpton village, which has a great village shop and local butchers as well as The Manor Inn pub a short walk down the road. From the doorstep are many fantastic walks along the South Coastal path, as well as a short walk down to Greenway Quay, where you can catch the ferries to Totness and Dartmouth or simply pop across to Dittisham for a bite to eat in The Ferry Boat Inn or Anchorstone fish café and indulge in a spot of crabbing on the quay.

The steam train station is close by offering many routes across Torbay and the South Hams. There is plenty to explore, from the little waterside café at Stoke Gabrielle to the famous Devonshire vineyard “Sharpham”, numerous castles, and National Trust properties close by. Agatha Christie’s house is just a 25 minute walk and surrounded by stunning gardens & river views & of course the popular seaside town of Dartmouth with its sandy beaches just round the corner.
