The multi-award winning Blackpool Sands is considered among the most beautiful beaches in the UK and it’s not hard to understand why. Relax on the sweeping sands, surf in the sheltered bay, or simply grab a locally sourced lunch in the cafe.

Further down the bay, the dog-friendly Slapton Sands is another great way to take advantage of South Devon’s Mediterranean-like climate and crystal clear waters. Be sure to pay a visit to the nearby Slapton Ley nature reserve, featuring the largest freshwater lake in South West England.

Other great beaches include Broadsands Beach, Elberry Cove, Goodrington Sands and Saint Mary’s Bay simply put, if you want great beaches, the area surrounding Galmpton Touring Park has them in spades!
